Lisa Plowman Lisa Plowman is the Planning Manager for Peikert Group Architects and provides land use planning and permitting services to our clients. She has been working in the land use planning field for nearly 20 years in the Santa Barbara community since receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ms. Plowman came to Peikert Group Architects in 2006 after working for the County of Santa Barbara Planning & Development Department for nearly 11 years. During her tenure at the County she processed entitlements, provided permit assistance for local businesses, and managed general plan updates. Her most recent position was Deputy Director for the Comprehensive Planning Division where she managed a wide variety of large scale community revitalization and long range planning programs. She specializes in managing and obtaining entitlements for large complex projects. Ms. Plowman moved to Santa Barbara in 1983. She served as the past president of the Environmental Studies Associates and on the board of directors of Small Wilderness Area Preserve. She currently serves on the American Planning Association - Central Coast Section’s legislative committee and the Coastal Housing Coalition’s policy committee.
