The Chapala Street corridor of Santa Barbara was for many years an underutilized and underdeveloped part of the downtown area. Often referred to as the “back of house” it has been undergoing a renaissance to transform it into a vital mixed use environment attractive to local residents and visitors. This project is a small scale mixed use proposal that provides 6 residential units and 3,000 square feet of commercial space.
